Grand Prix World 2006 Season Update

All this madness began in this thread at Simracingworld.com forums. It was late March 2006, and still nobody had announced the availability of any update for the starting season.

The year before Lexx had provided the community with a revolutionary update *and* the first exe editor, but there weren't news of him taking the job for 2006.

boost started working on 2006 liveries and, encouraged by the positive feedback at simracingworld forums, decided to announce his decision to start the development of a new season update. At the same time hermanchides announced his desire to create an update for the running season. It took not much to decide to join forces. Boost setup a new forum to host the update and the response from people was inmediate.

It took near four months to put it all together, I guess none thought it would take that much.

Features

We have tried to get the best possible update, featuring:

• loads of updated 2006 season data.
• complete f1 personnel per team.
• 37 2006 F1 drivers with detailed profile.
• 4 non-f1 drivers from GP2 and Indycar.
• 40 non-f1 staff from GP2 teams or ex f1.
• 79 new Sponsors.
• new ultra realistic car liveries.
• new tyres and 2006 real helmets.
• updated user interface with high quality images.
• updated in race speech and text commentary.
• ... and much more!
